Wild Pear (Pyrus communis)

This tree has white flowers in April, with glossy green leaves and thorny twigs. It produces small edible fruit, with orange and gold leaves in Autumn.

You can grow this tree in full sun or partial shade. It will reach 15 metres if left to grow as a tree, but it is also a common hedge plant so it can be pruned to fit your space.
